Emergency & Trauma Care

24/7 Emergency Room with trained trauma surgeons, resuscitation bays, and ambulance services.

1 About This Service

Our Emergency & Trauma Care unit operates 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, ready to handle life-threatening conditions, accidents, strokes, heart attacks, and polytrauma cases.

The Emergency Department is staffed by board-certified emergency medicine physicians, trauma surgeons, and critical care nurses at all times. We maintain dedicated resuscitation bays, crash carts, ventilators, and portable diagnostic equipment inside the emergency zone.

Our triage system — modelled on the 5-level Manchester Triage Protocol — ensures the most critical patients are seen immediately. Ambulance services with paramedic support are available for pre-hospital care and swift patient transport.

2 How It Works

1

Arrival & Triage

On arrival, a triage nurse immediately assesses severity using a 5-level protocol. Critical patients bypass registration.

Immediate
2

Resuscitation / Stabilisation

Life-threatening conditions (cardiac arrest, stroke, severe trauma) are managed in dedicated resuscitation bays with full ACLS support.

3

Rapid Diagnostics

Bedside ECG, point-of-care blood tests, portable X-ray, FAST ultrasound, and CT scan access within the emergency zone.

15–30 min
4

Emergency Treatment

The EM physician initiates treatment including IV medications, wound care, fracture management, or emergency procedures.

5

Specialist Consultation

On-call specialists (cardiology, neurology, surgery, ortho) are summoned within minutes for complex cases.

6

Admit or Discharge

Stable patients are discharged with instructions. Critical patients are admitted to ICU, ward, or OT as required.
